MEET THE COACH

My Story: Turning Pain into Purpose

My journey didn’t start with coaching—it began with my diagnosis of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a condition that completely changed the trajectory of my life. I had to learn how to function through persistent pain and adapt to a life that no longer felt predictable, the emotional weight of chronic pain, and the uncertainty of what my future would look like. It was through that journey that I discovered the power of finding purpose in pain.

I had to learn how to rebuild my life around chronic pain, face the emotional weight it carried, and navigate the uncertainty of what my future would look like. It was through that journey that I discovered the power of finding purpose in pain—and a deeper reliance on my faith, which became an anchor during my most difficult seasons.

I began my academic journey at the age of 48, a decision that reflects my belief that it is never too late to grow, evolve, and step into your calling. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which have given me a deeper understanding of the human experience, resilience, and personal growth. My approach is rooted in both biblical principles and logotherapy, emphasizing meaning, purpose, and the belief that even in suffering, life holds value. As Viktor Frankl stated, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” This aligns closely with scripture, Romans 5:3–4 (NIV): “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

Today, I use that lived experience, my faith, and my training to guide others. We don’t just focus on getting through hard seasons—we focus on reclaiming who you are. My work is centered on uncovering the resilience that often stays hidden beneath life’s challenges and helping you move from simply surviving to truly flourishing. I firmly believe there is no age limit when it comes to finding YOUR purpose.
